“Down to Earth”

“I have long held an opinion, almost amounting to conviction,

in common I believe with many other lovers of natural knowledge,

that the various forms under which the forces of matter are made manifest

have one common origin; or, in other words,

are so directly related and mutually dependent,

that they are convertible, as it were, one into another,

and possess equivalents of power in their action.”

— Michael Faraday

Gravity and Electromagnetism Similarities:

They are both “Fundamental Forces” that dictate and allow all macro phenomena in our universe to be made manifest.

They both exert their force over infinite distances, but with distance (space) wax or wane their influence in an inverse square relationship.

Gravity and Electromagnetism Differences:

Gravity exerts its’ force on charge-less mass (energy expressed in an inert form), and it always naturally attracts other uncharged mass.

Gravity is the weakest Fundamental Force, possesses No Net Charge, and is used to Ground Charges of electromagnetic phenomena, no force particle has yet been discovered for this Force.

Electromagnetism exerts its’ force on things that are charged (polarized matter or +/-), and it either attracts or repels things that possess a net charge.

Light is the Primary Fundamental Particle that carries and transmits energy of the Electromagnetic Force, and light was the first fundamental particle to be quantized by Albert Einstein in 1905.

Light is color, light is energy, light is life!

Gravity keeps us Grounded and it keeps us alive.

Gravity is a Passive Force, Instinctual in Nature, always there unconsciously.

Electromagnetism is an Active Force, Creative, Conscious and life enhancing in Nature.

I’m thankful for my life and for Gravity, but I Live for the Charge, the Color, the Light!
