Irony and Communication

We attempt to communicate to relay meaning to others, through symbols, nonverbally, language, and all other forms of communication, either consciously or unconsciously.

We attempt to relay our feelings to others, when we are in command of our emotions, or not.

Irony: Is a form of communication that consists of an aware and and unaware audience,

one party when hearing it shall hear & shall not understand,

& another party that, when more is meant than meets the ear,

is aware both of that more & of the outsiders’ incomprehension.

This is the crux of all miscommunications between those who deliberately want to know and those who unwittingly do not want to know.

Irony is the basis of Truth, Humor and the way in which those who Know attempt to instruct those who do not.
