Two Minds, The Same Event

When a major emotional life event is shared by two people, the way in which they both experience it will always be different, but for two people who function with differing right and left brain dominance it is extremely different.

Left brain dominant individuals, lack access to the right minds sensually rich episodic memory banks and rely upon their verbally centered less emotionally intense and less accurate left minds semantic memory stores when reliving the experience.

Right brain dominant folks, while they cannot verbalize the experience as well, feel intense emotions surrounding the event, no matter how much others care reason with them. Theirs is a very different experience and words and logic are an ineffective technique when comforting them.
