Ambition, Duty and Honor

“Ambition is longing for what we do not yet possess, Duty is giving deference to the role that we play, and Honor is retaining deference for what is right, regardless of the personal cost that we might pay.

Ambition affords us some preliminary fuel to direct our unbridled urges, Duty an assumed direction for our energies, and Honor the true focus of our purest intentions.”

“The absence of Fear can lead us to ruin, as fear keeps our bodies alive and safe. Fear is the primary force that keeps us bound to the Duty of our role, Honor only reveals itself when Fear is shown to be the unreal fiction that it is.”
