The Good and The Bad

There is no such thing as good or bad, only a spectrum of views perceiving and then describing things as relatively positive or relatively negative depending upon the viewers perspective in the moments of observation and subsequent reflection (Multiple perspectives varying from broad to narrow, aware to unaware, educated to ignorant and open to closed).

The most common perspective being that of ones most proximate cultural norms (coincidently the most commonly employed) whether or not it is logically valid, sustainable or intuitively sound.

Therefore, everything that happens or exists can be described by any particular observer as ranging from good to bad and from multiple perspectives. Everything that happens or exists must possess a range of attributes that contain attributes of both positive and negative and any effort to convince oneself or others otherwise is not only illogical but is a powerful causative agent for much dis-ease, conflict and misunderstanding.

Any polarized and static perspective (ideology), by definition, limits ones perspective and therefore creates an artificial externalized lens through which to view and experience life.

Faith is blind, as many things must lie beyond our understanding, but it cannot require us to subject ourselves to intellectual suicide in the process.
